This AI rap generator writes an original rap about anyone you choose: type a first name or nickname, who they are and two or three things they always do, and Google's Gemini writes rhyming bars with the name in the first line. Edit any line, then hear it rapped over a beat by Google DeepMind's Lyria 3 in a free 30-second preview. You don't need a photo or an account.
How the AI rap generator writes the bars
Every rap has a title, a 6-line verse and a 4-line hook. The lines rhyme in couplets (AABB) and run 7 to 10 syllables, the length that rides a beat instead of reading like a poem. The name is in the first line and twice in the hook. The lyric model takes two or three of your details and exaggerates them for comedy; it only uses what you type and never invents private facts.
It also keeps the words clean and generic: no swearing, and no brands, apps, places, celebrities, artists or other people's names. The only name in the rap is the one you typed.
Pick a style and a beat
Five styles change what the bars do: Birthday (a wish with happy birthday in the hook), Hype (big funny compliments), Roast (friendly teasing that ends on love), Flex (first-person bragging) and Sing it (a short song, sung instead of rapped). The table above lists the six beats, from lo-fi at about 85 BPM to trap at about 140 BPM with a half-time feel. Choose a male or female voice too.
From AI rap song to rap video
Happy with the AI rap song? Press play on the free 30-second preview to hear it rapped. Then, if you want, add a face: a photo of yourself, an adult who said yes, your own pet, or a classic character like Count Dracula. The video uses the first 13 to 15 seconds of the rap, so the opening lines matter most. Polish lines 1 to 5 before you pay $4.99 for the lip-synced video. Page ideas: a rap birthday song, cat rapping or yourself as an AI rapper.
What the AI rap generator won't write
What you type is checked before the lyrics are written, and the lyrics are checked again after. The generator won't write about race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, health, bodies or looks; nothing sexual; no violence, weapons, drugs or alcohol; no factual accusations. It avoids religious words even as figures of speech (pray, holy, bless, heaven), and it never quotes existing songs. It won't write about celebrities, and it only takes a first name or nickname. See the terms.
Edit it and make it yours
You can change any line before it is rapped. Keep the name in, and keep it between 20 and 160 words: a short video only uses the opening lines anyway. Not feeling it? Ask for a fresh set; you get up to 8 sets of lyrics a day on each device, rewrites included. Back to the AI rap video generator or see pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI rap generator free?
Yes. Up to 8 sets of lyrics and 2 rapped 30-second previews a day on each device, with no sign-up. Only the lip-synced video costs money.
Does it actually rap, or only write lyrics?
It raps. Google DeepMind's Lyria 3 performs your lyrics over the beat in a male or female rapper's voice for 30 seconds.
Can I use the lyrics however I want?
They are yours to edit, perform and share for personal fun under our terms of service; commercial uses are not included. Please say they were written with AI if you post them.
Can it write a rap about a celebrity or in a famous rapper's style?
No. It only writes about people you know, your pets and classic characters, and it doesn't imitate real artists or quote their songs.
