A rap birthday song is a short rap that wishes someone happy birthday with their name in it. Here it comes as a video: upload a photo of the birthday person (an adult who has said yes), add two or three things they always do, and their own photo raps the birthday bars to the camera, lips moving on every word. The lyrics and a 30-second rapped preview are free; the 15-second birthday rap video is $4.99.
How the birthday rap video is made
- Upload the photo. One clear face, looking at the camera, in good light. Our checker looks at it first and refuses anyone who may be under 18, celebrities and group photos.
- Fill in the birthday person. Their first name or nickname, who they are to you (Birthday person, Sister, Best friend, Mom and so on) and two or three habits. The Birthday style and a pop rap beat are already set; pick a male or female voice.
- Read the bars. Google's Gemini writes the rap birthday song: a 6-line verse and a 4-line hook with the name in the first line and happy birthday in the hook. Change any line you like.
- Hear it free. Google DeepMind's Lyria 3 raps 30 seconds of it over the beat.
- Make the video. Alibaba's Wan 3.0 animates the photo to the first 13 to 15 seconds, cut where the last full line ends, as a 720 x 1280 vertical MP4. It usually takes 5 to 8 minutes.
Rap birthday song ideas by milestone
The table above pairs milestone birthdays, from the 18th to the 60th, with a beat and details that make good bars. The trick is one age line plus one or two habits only the family or the group chat knows: first on the dance floor, the grill nobody else may touch, the stories everyone has heard ten times. Age jokes are fine. Jokes about looks (gray hair, wrinkles, weight) are not, and the tool won't write them.
Example: Jess turns thirty
Jess is a made-up sister turning 30, with an AI-generated photo, made with this tool on the Birthday style, a pop rap beat and a female voice. Her details were the dance floor, the burnt cookies and 400 unread texts. Her 15-second video opens with "Yeah it is Jess and I am thirty now / I hit the dance floor and I show you how" and ends on the cookies line.
Notice what didn't make it: the unread-texts joke was line 5, so it's in the free preview but not in the video. The video uses the opening lines, usually 4 or 5. Put the joke you care about most first. The Birthday style says happy birthday with their name in the first two lines, so it lands inside the 15-second video; you can still edit any line before you pay.
Sending a happy birthday rap
The video is vertical 9:16, so it fits TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and stories without cropping. Download the MP4 and drop the rap birthday song in the group chat at midnight, or send the private share page, which has the video and the lyrics. The share page is hidden from search engines, and the birthday person can take it down with one tap if they want to. Want it sung instead of rapped? Pick Sing it in the style list, or see the singing photo page.
Birthday rap rules
Birthday rap videos are for adults: 18th birthdays and up. Only use a photo of someone who has said yes to being in it. If it's meant as a surprise, ask them for a photo they'd be happy to see rapping, or make one of yourself with the AI rapper page. The lyrics stay clean and never mention last names, schools or workplaces. See the terms for the full list, or start from the AI rap video generator home page.
