Turn Yourself Into an AI Rapper
AI rapper from your own photo: Gemini writes hype bars about you, Lyria raps them, and your photo lip-syncs them in a 15-second vertical video.
Turn yourself into a rapper
We swapped a few words so the music model would perform it. This is the version it raps.

- Google's Gemini looks at every photo before anything is made and says no when unsure: celebrities and public figures, anyone who may be under 18, nudity, weapons or injuries, copyrighted cartoon, game or film characters, more than one face, no clear face
- How the photo moves
- The mouth follows every word, the head nods to the beat; the face, hair, clothes and background stay as in the photo; static camera, no captions or props

- A first name or nickname only (up to 24 letters), never a last name; the only name in the lyrics is that one: no brands, places, celebrities or other people

- After you pay
- You can close the page while the video renders; it shows up again in the same browser or with your code
- If a video fails
- It doesn't use a credit: the credit goes back automatically; if it renders but looks broken, email hello@airapvideocreator.app for a remake
- Posting it
- Our terms ask you to say a video was made with AI when you post it, and to post only videos everyone in them agreed to
- Faces you can use
- Your own photo, an adult (18+) who said yes, your own pet, or one of 6 classic public-domain characters in the tool: Count Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein's creature, Robin Hood, the Big Bad Wolf and Santa Claus
- Best photos
- A clear, front-facing photo where the face fills a good part of the frame; when no clear face is found, the tool asks for a close-up photo with good light
- What the lyrics use
- Two or three of your details, exaggerated for comedy; the lyric model never invents private facts
- Free preview
- Your own lyrics rapped (or, with Sing it, sung) over the beat and voice you chose, 30 seconds long
| Style | What the bars do | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Hype | Big, funny compliments and bragging on your behalf | A profile video, a confidence boost |
| Flex | First-person swagger: over-the-top bragging about everyday habits | Meme clips, a group chat joke |
| Roast | Friendly teasing about habits and choices, ending on love | Laughing at yourself first |
| Birthday | A birthday celebration with happy birthday in the hook | Your own birthday post |
| Sing it | A short, warm, funny song, sung by a pop singer | When you would rather sing than rap |
An AI rapper here is you, rapping. Upload a clear photo of yourself, type your first name or nickname and two or three things you're known for, and the AI writes hype bars about you, raps them in a male or female rapper's voice and makes your photo perform them, lips moving on every word. The lyrics and a 30-second rapped preview are free, with no sign-up.
How to turn yourself into an AI rapper
- Upload a photo of yourself and pick Myself. One face, looking at the camera, in good light.
- Give the AI something to brag about: your playlist skills, your gym streak, your legendary group-chat replies. Hype is preset; Flex is the cockier first-person version.
- Read and edit the bars, then hear 30 seconds rapped over your beat, free.
- Make the video. Your photo raps the opening 13 to 15 seconds, with your face, hair, clothes and background kept as they are in the photo. It usually takes 5 to 8 minutes.
AI rapper styles and voices
The table above shows the five styles. Hype and Flex are the classic rapper moves: one has the AI hype you up, the other has you bragging about things that don't deserve it. Roast lets you laugh at yourself first. Pair the style with one of six beats (boom bap, trap, West Coast, old school, lo-fi or pop rap) and a male or female rapper's voice.
Your AI rapper video, not a copy of a real rapper
The voice is an AI voice made by Google DeepMind's Lyria 3, and it isn't modeled on anyone. Lyria filters out requests for specific artists' voices and copyrighted lyrics, our lyrics never quote existing songs, and the only name in the bars is yours. So you can't make yourself sound like a famous rapper, and you can't upload a famous rapper's photo: celebrities and public figures are refused by the photo check.
Example: Marcus raps about himself
Marcus is a made-up best friend with an AI-generated photo, made on the Roast style with a boom bap beat. His own photo raps about his fantasy football team for 14 seconds: "Yeah it is me, your boy Marcus / In fantasy, I am the darkest". It works because the photo is the one telling the joke. Want to make a friend into a rapper instead? You can, with a photo of an adult who said yes; for birthdays, see the rap birthday song page.
Where to use your AI rapper video
The MP4 is vertical 9:16 at 720 x 1280, the shape TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts use, so it posts without cropping. It also works as a profile video or a reply in the group chat. Please say it was made with AI when you post it. Rather sing? Try a singing photo. Only want the words? The AI rap generator is free. Or go back to the AI rap video generator.
